³Cat-2 launch date: ³Cat-2's launch is scheduled the 15th of August at 17:46h UTC. Launcher vehicle: Chinese Long March 2-D rocket to take off from the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Centre in northern China. The first communication attempt from Barcelona will take place a few hours later.

The ³Cat-2 mission has begun: The ³Cat-2 mission has begun! Last night the Long March 2D rocket containing the ³Cat-2 nano-satellite was successfully launched and all the passengers were injected in their target orbit. This morning a few bursts of the ³Cat-2 VHF beacon have been received from our launch partner's ground station in the Netherlands.
