The ³Cat-2 mission has begun! Last night the Long March 2D rocket containing the ³Cat-2 nano-satellite was successfully launched and all the passengers were injected in their target orbit. This morning a few bursts of the ³Cat-2 VHF beacon have been received from our launch partner's ground station in the Netherlands.
Yesterday, Monday 29th, two of our NanoSat Lab members were headed to the Netherlands once again. Their goal: to recharge the ³Cat-1's batteries.
The ³Cat-4 project has been selected by the European Space Agency (ESA) to be a part of the 2nd 'Fly Your Satellite!' programme, offering the possibility to collaborate with ESA in the design, development, validation and launch of university CubeSats.
